Paige Spiranac is an American social media influencer, golf instructor, and former professional golfer. She competed in Division 1 college golf at both the University of Arizona and San Diego State University, where she earned All-Mountain West Conference accolades during the 2012–13 and 2013–14 seasons, and led the Aztecs to their inaugural Mountain West Conference Championship in 2015.
Paige Renee Spiranac was born on March 26, 1993, in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. She initially trained in gymnastics with aspirations of competing in the Olympics. However, at the age of 12, a second knee injury, having previously broken her kneecap, thwarted her gymnastics ambitions and redirected her focus to golf.
In the early stages of her golf career, Paige Spiranac triumphed in five out of seven tournaments on Colorado’s junior golf circuit, including the 2010 CWGA Junior Stroke Play. She ascended to become a top-20 junior player globally, a top-5 college recruit, and was recognized as a two-time West Region Player of the Year, in addition to being named a first-team All-American as part of the Future Collegians World Tour.
Paige Spiranac made her professional golf debut in May 2016. She started on the developmental Cactus Tour at the Las Colinas club in Queen Creek, Arizona. In her third tournament, she secured her first tour victory with a sudden-death win at Scottsdale’s Orange Tree Country Club against Hannah O’Sullivan.
Paige Spiranac subsequently secured ninth place at Stallion Mountain. At the Aliante Golf Club, she achieved a 17th place finish among 52 golfers.
In July, she recorded an eight-over-par score, resulting in a seventh-place finish at Walnut Creek in Mansfield, Texas. Later that month, she successfully made the cut at the Scottish Open during the Ladies’ European Tour.
In September 2016, Paige Spiranac ended in a three-way tie for second place at Legacy in Phoenix, Arizona, marking her second-best performance of the year. A final round score of two-under-par led to another top-five finish at Trilogy in October. In August 2016, Paige Spiranac participated in her inaugural LPGA Qualifying Tournament but was unable to secure a card to compete on the professional circuit.
