Alisha Lehmann is a Swiss football player who has played for the Italian Serie A club Juventus and the Switzerland national team. She occupies the forward position and wears the number 7 on her jersey.
Alisha Lehmann was born on January 21, 1999, in Tagertschi, Switzerland. From a young age, she developed a passion for sports and began playing football at the age of 9. Her youth career commenced with the club FC Konolfingen, where she was active from 2008 to 2011. She subsequently advanced her career at BSC Young Boys Frauen, participating in the women’s U14 team while also training three times a week with the young men’s teams from U13 to U15.
Alisha Lehmann commenced her senior professional career at the Swiss club BSC YB when she was 17 years old. In her inaugural season, she achieved a hat-trick in a 3–0 victory over FC Staad. That season, she was the leading scorer for her team, netting a total of nine goals. Throughout her tenure at the club, she went on to score 25 goals in 52 league matches.
Following the conclusion of the 2017/2018 season, the 19-year-old transitioned from the BSC Young Boys Frauen team to West Ham United in the English Women’s Super League in August 2018. Reports indicated that the West Ham manager was impressed by her performances during the 2018 UEFA Women’s Under-19 Championship, which was hosted by Switzerland. In April 2019, West Ham opted to extend Alisha Lehmann’s contract after she netted 9 goals in 30 appearances across all competitions and contributed to the club’s advancement to the Women’s FA Cup final by scoring the equalizing goal in the semi-final match against Reading.
In January 2021, Alisha Lehmann was loaned to Everton FC, where she remained until the end of the season, participating in 12 matches and scoring 1 goal.
Alisha Lehmann joined Aston Villa for the 2021/2022 season. In July 2022, she signed a one-year contract extension with Aston Villa for the 2022/2023 season, having made 23 appearances and scored 4 goals during her initial season at the club.
On the international stage, Alisha Lehmann represented the Swiss U17 national team, which finished as the runner-up at the European U17 Championship held in Iceland. She also participated in the European U19 Championships in Switzerland. Alisha Lehmann made her senior debut for Switzerland on October 22, 2017, in Nagano during a friendly match against Japan. In April 2021, she was part of the team that secured qualification for the 2022 European Championships in England. In the playoff match against the Czech Republic, Switzerland triumphed only after a penalty shoot-out.
